DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply Dr. Earth® Organic 10 fertilizer every two months throughout the growing season (mid-April to late-August).
Palm Trees
New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1 to 2 cups Palm, Tropical & Hibiscus Fertilizer to the soil that will be used to fill the tree hole. Once planting is finished, add an additional cup around the plant and work into the soil gently. Make sure to water thoroughly.
Established Plants: Use 1/2 to 3/4 cup for every foot of plant height. Work Organic 10 into the soil gently, inside of the drip line and water thoroughly.
Hibiscus, Subtropical & Tropical Plants
New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1 cup to the soil that will be used to fill the planting hole. After planting, add an additional cup around the plant and mix into the soil gently. Water thoroughly.
Established Plants: Use 1/2 cup for every foot of plant height. Work Organic 10 into the soil gently, inside of the drip line and water thoroughly. Apply every 4 weeks during the growing season (mid-April to late-August).
Container Plants
New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 2 tablespoons per gallon of growing medium, or add 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approximately 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix well with the soil and water thoroughly. Your new plants will love it!
Established Plants: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons for every 6-inches of pot diameter, or 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approximately 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix into the soil gently around the plant and water thoroughly.
Plumerias
New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1/2 cup to the soil that will be used to fill the planting hole. After planting, add an additional 1/2 cup around the plant and work into the soil gently. Water thoroughly.
Established Plants: Use 1 cup Dr. Earth® Fertilizer for every inch of trunk diameter (measured at 4" to 6" above the soil line.) Work into the soil gently inside of the drip line and water thoroughly.
Fertilizer Tea, Foliar Feeding and Deep Root Feeding
For a rich liquid solution, mix 2 pounds, or 5 cups for every 5 gallons of water. Let stand for 24 hours. Strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone. The liquid portion (tea) can be applied at 1 to 2 cups for plants, or 2 to 4 cups for larger plants. Use full strength to foliar feed and for deep root feeding of all plants. |
