DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply Dr. Earth® Organic 6 every other month throughout the growing season.
Bedding Plants
New Plantings: During bed preparation, mix in with your soil amendment 1-1/2 cups Flower Garden Fertilizer per 10 square feet, or use 1/4 cup for a 1-gallon plant. Feed every 8 weeks during the growing season for maximum results.
Established Plants: In beds, use 1 cup for every 10 square feet, or mix 3-1/2 cups per 50 feet of garden row. Mix Dr. Earth® with soil gently and water well.
Flowering Container Plants
New Plantings: When planting, mix 1 heaping tablespoon Organic 6 to each quart of potting soil, or add 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of medium. Water in well. Your newly potted plants will love it!
Established Plants: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon for a 6-inch container, or 4 tablespoons for a 12-inch container. Mix into the soil gently and cover with a thin layer of organic mulch, when possible. Water thoroughly. Apply every other month.
Individual Plants
New Plantings: Once you have dug the planting hole to the correct size, mix 4 tablespoons per 1-gallon container with your soil and a good quality soil amendment. After planting, water well.
Established Plants: To side dress, add 1/4 cup per 2-foot of plant diameter. Mix with the soil gently and cover with a thin layer of organic mulch, when possible. Apply every two months throughout the growing season and water thoroughly.
Fertilizer Tea, Foliar Feeding and Deep Root Feeding
For a rich liquid mixture of Dr. Earth® Organic 6, mix 2 pounds, or 5 cups for every 5 gallons of water. Let stand for 24 hours. Strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone. The liquid portion (tea) can be applied at 1 to 2 cups for plants, or 2 to 4 cups for larger plants. Use full strength to foliar feed and for deep root feeding of all plants. |
