Planting Instructions:
Sow in place where plants are to grow, late fall or very early spring. Plants require full sun and reasonably rich, well drained soil. Germination may be slow and erratic, so keep adequately moist and control weeds.

Seeds are produced the second year, and may be collected when mature but before fully dry, as the seed head then shatters. May occasionally bloom the first year from seed. The leaves and carrot like root may be eaten as well.
