Organic Potting Soil

Black Gold Natural & Organic Potting Soil is specially formulated to maintain your plant's delicate natural balance. A multi-purpose soil that's ideal for all plants, including houseplants, patio containers and hanging baskets. The mix is regionally prepared and includes screened earthworm castings, Canadian Sphagnum peat moss and perlite to ensure excellent pore and air space. OMRI Listed for use in organic production.

Directions for Use:
1.) Select a container just large enough to line the bottom with 2-3 inches of Black Gold® and still have room to cover the root system. Partially cover the drain hole with rocks or pieces of broken clay pot, and then add those 2-3 inches of soil.

2.) Carefully remove your plant from its old home and gently brush the old mix from its roots. (Heavily root-bound plants may need some root untangling. Do this carefully and your plant will thank you.)

3.) Place your plant in its new container, centering it just so. Add Black Gold® covering the root system to the same level as it was in its old pot, or so that its root system is completely covered and the base of the stem is not.

4.) Firm the soil around your plant by pressing gently with your hands. Water thoroughly, allowing the excess to drain out the bottom.

5.) Enjoy the fruits of your labor, and talk to your plants everyday.
