Baker Creek Heirloom SeedsA very rare heirloom. This large (7-15 pound), peach colored squash from "Down Under" has extra thick, orange flesh of excellent quality. Perfect for pies and baking! 50-55 days.

Planting Instructions:
Grow winter squash and pumpkins in very rich soil, amended with manure, compost or other rich source of plant nutrients. Plant in rows, 5 to 8 feet in both directions, sowing one seed for every 6 to 12 inches. May also plant in hills, 5 seeds per hill, with the hills 6 to 8 feet apart, thinning to three plants.

Full sun, ample moisture and insect control when necessary should allow good production from these vigorous plants. Harvest in autumn when skins are too tough to be easily punctured with a thumbnail.
