Moisture Meter (Digital PLUS)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Turn the meter on by pushing the power button. The following options appear on the screen:

FAVORITES: Allows you to build a list of the plants you check frequently. When you build a favorites list, you can click on this option to go directly to a list of your plants.

BASIC MODE: Takes you directly to the soil moisture test screen, without a specific plant selection.

PLANT LIST: When selected, the meter will divert to an alphabetical selection.

After selecting a letter of the alphabet, the meter will display a list of plants that start with that letter. Choose the plant growing, or that will be planted, in the soil being tested. Push the select button.

When the plant name is selected, the meter will display the plant name and the plant’s “water” mark. This indicates the lowest the soil moisture level should be allowed to reach. Test the soil moisture following the detailed directions inside the package.

After testing, push the select button an additional time for information on how frequently the soil moisture should be monitored, and for any special watering needs the plant may have. (Not all plants have special watering needs.)
