Apply Dr. Earth LIFE every other month throughout the growing season.

Vegetables, Annuals, Perennials & Bedding Plants

New Plantings: During bed preparation, mix in 3/4 of a cup All Purpose Fertilizer for every 10 square feet of growing area (approx. 2′ x 5′), or 3 cups for every 50-feet of garden row. Till the soil to a depth of 6″ to 12″ and water well.

Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every 20 square feet (approx. 4′ x 5′) of growing area, or 1-1/2 cups for every 50-feet of garden row. Apply every other month during the growing season.

Potted Plants

New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 1 heaping tablespoon per gallon of potting soil, or add 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix fertilizer and soil thoroughly. Water well after planting.

Established Plants: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon for every 6-inches of pot diameter, or 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of soil. Water thoroughly.

Trees & Shrubs

New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1 cup of Dr. Earth LIFE Fertilizer to the soil that will be used to fill the tree or shrub hole. After planting, add an additional 1/2 cup and cultivate gently into the top 6-inches of planting surface and water well.

Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every inch of trunk diameter (measured at 4″ to 6″ above the soil line). Broadcast inside of the drip line. Water thoroughly after application.

Fertilizer Tea, Foliar Feeding and Deep Root Feeding

For a rich liquid solution, mix 2 pounds, or 5 cups for every 5 gallons of water. Let stand for 24 hours. Strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone. The liquid portion (tea) can be applied at 1 to 2 cups for plants, or 2 to 4 cups for larger plants. Use full strength to foliar feed and for deep root feeding of all plants.

Ingredients: Fish bone meal, fish meal, alfalfa meal, feather meal, potassium sulphate, bat guano, kelp meal, soft rock phosphate, cottonseed meal, seaweed extract and seven strains of Pro-Biotic beneficial soil microbes, PLUS Ecto and Endo Mycorrhizae.

Grower’s Tip:
This product may also be used in your compost pile to help speed up the break down of organic matter without tying up nitrogen.
