Good for slicing, salads and pickling! Edmonson Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) yields blocky, whitish green fruits — 4 inches long — that are crisp and flavorful even when large; rarely bitter. Plants are extremely prolific and disease and drought resistant. Certified organic, and ready for harvest in 70 days. Here are our best tips on How to Grow Cucumbers, too!

Each packet contains approximately 25 seeds.

Planting and Harvesting Tips:
Plants are best direct-seeded two weeks after the last spring frost date, but can be started earlier indoors as transplants. Wait for warm days and soil temperatures above 60˚F before planting outside. Plants are heavy feeders and thrive in rich soil full of organic matter. They can be trellised if space is limited.

Supply plenty of moisture and keep plants mulched to prevent soil from drying out between waterings. Pick fruits when they are about 4-8 inches long. Harvest often so that they don’t become woody and tough. Fruits can be difficult to spot among the vines and foliage.
