DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Bulbs
New Bed Plantings: During bed preparation, mix in 1-1/2 cups Bulb Food per 10 square feet of growing area. Mix thoroughly into the soil to a depth of 4 to 6 inches, or as needed depending on the bulb.
Individual Bulb Planting: Once you have dug the planting hole to the correct depth, add 1 Tbsp. Bulb Food to the soil beneath each bulb as you go with growing buds pointing upwards. Cover with soil to the original soil level. Water thoroughly.
Established Bulbs: Sprinkle 1/2 cup Dr. Earth Organic 1 for every 10 square feet. For individual bulbs, use 1 Tbsp. in a 3″ to 4″ ring around the plant. Gently mix into the soil surface and water well.
Container Bulbs
New Plantings: When potting, mix 1 tablespoon Bulb Food to each quart of potting medium, or 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of soil. Mix well with the soil. Plant bulbs at proper depth, water thoroughly.
Established Bulbs: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon Organic 1 per bulb in a 3 to 4 inch ring around the plant. Gently mix into the soil surface. Be careful not to damage new shoots. Water thoroughly. Feed the bulbs every month after flowering until the leaves die in the early fall.
Grower’s Tip:
For maximum results, always mix fertilizer with the soil prior to planting.
