I was being frugal and just using a old pot for kitchen scraps. I received this as a gift from a friend along with a bag of Bokashi to help everything get started. Works great! Be careful it is a little fragile.

I am very happy with my Bamboo Compost Pail! It looks lovely on my counter and does exactly what it says; it does not smell at all. Just keep the charcoal filter in there and it's good to go. It is easy to carry and easy to clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this last year for my mother to begin her composting hobby at home. It looks great on the shelf, the filters keeps the smell away. She loves it. Now she is avid about having a mix for her pile outside to combine and have a rich nutritious soil mixture. Great place to start!
