Safer Ant & Crawling Insect Killer contains Diatomaceous earth (77.69%), a fine powder made from the fossilized remains of tiny fresh water algae-like creatures called diatoms. INDOOR USE
Earwigs, Centipedes, Silverfish, Cockroaches, Ants:
Apply in areas where these pests are found or may hide, such as cracks and crevices, behind and beneath refrigerators, cabinets, stoves, garbage cans and in and around sewer pipes and drains, window frames and in attics and basements. Dust insects directly if possible. Repeat regularly.
Fleas:
Thoroughly treat floor and bedding in and around pets’ sleeping quarters. Treat surrounding cracks and crevices, baseboards, carpeting and wherever fleas are suspected.
Bedbugs:
Take bed apart. Dust into joints and channels. If hollow, such as square or round tubing, see that the interior of the framework is well dusted. Mattresses should be dusted, especially tufts, edges or folds. All cracks and crevices in the room should be treated.
OUTDOOR USE
Ants, Cockroaches, Earwigs & Other Crawling Insects:
Apply in areas where insect pests are found such as patios, window and door frames, outdoor sills. Dust around foundations, along ant trails, and around sewer pipes and drains. Repeat as necessary.

Grower’s Tip:
This product is not to be confused with the DE sold for swimming pool filters (Diatomite), which has been heat treated to increase the crystalline silica content. Crystalline silica has been classified as a human lung carcinogen.

I had a major ant problem this season so I went into my favorite local garden store and they told me that this was the answer. I applied the DE around the corners of my home where I would see the ants the most. I also tilled some in around my garden. It's completely natural so I don't feel bad about putting this product around my edibles. I have not seen nearly as many ants around. This product really works!
